what is the fcga? founded in january of 2001 by gordon long, the fcga's primary mission is to provide junior golfers the opportunity to secure valuable college scholarships. the fcga is open to boys and girls ages 9-18 who are committed to competing in junior golf at the national level. who are fcga members? of the 42 st. louis area boys currently nationally ranked, 26 are members of fcga. of the six st.louis area girls nationally ranked, four are members of fcga. of the seven high school seniors in the fcga during 2001, four accepted golf scholarships before january 1st of their senior year.
