Re: ACH Pull vs Bill pay Push As long as it pays your bill - who cares!? But seriously, for many issuers an ACH pull will get credited to your account immediately, or very soon thereafter where as a push has to wait until it gets to the receiving bank

For inter account transfers, push is always faster However, pull -payments- will credit based on the time the pull is entered and done, regardless of actual processing time, so they're slightly safer as a push could arrive too late to process
