- VICSとは？
「vics（ビックス）」とは、渋滞や交通規制などの道路交通情報を、 FM多重放送やビーコンを使ってリアルタイムにカーナビに届けるシステムです。 VICS情報は24時間365日提供され、カーナビによるルート検索や渋滞回避に活用されています。
- VICSの仕組み
vicsは、vicsセンターで編集、処理された渋滞や交通規制などの道路交通情報をリアルタイムに送信し、 カーナビゲーションなどの車載機に文字・図形で表示させています。
