on the 12 11 2024 i had a car accident [ none fault ] i contacted the aa who in turn put me on to a company called ax-uk a 3rd party insurance company they took over from my insurance company they told me to cancel my insurance with geoffrey insurance as they will do all the work so i cancelled my insurance with them i emailed ax the damage done to my car

In theory, since you didn't give them the V5 (you didn't, did you???) then Copart have unlawfully registered the car into the trade And if its sold without the V5, then the subsequent owner who tries to re-apply for it will have the barrier that its not lawfully Copart's to sell on

When i spoke to Copart a few months back they advised they were waiting for HD direction So HD had ample opportunity to have returned the car, I think they have forgotten the car was still there because they lost all the car documents and copart called them about the storage charges and they adviced Copart to sell it off to cover the cost

In the meantime I have been contacted by Copart They wanted to collect my car, even though I did not receive new settlement figure I am a bit confused worried that if I let them take my car, they will offer me less money, and I will be without car Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think I should not let Copart take my car without agreeing to the settlement first?
