The Halfords one ticks a lot of boxes but especially the fleecy inner Hopefully with the XS size it will limit lot sof movement in the wind which -with dust and grit, can marr the paintwork I miss my garage!

I usually use a spray can of Halfords car primer for this The colour of primer I choose depends on the final colour of what I am painting but for scenic work plain white usually works best The Tamiya and Citadel (available through Games Workshop) range of acrylics are excellent and I can highly recommend them, particularly for scenic work

BTW I bought the 1200 grit paper from Toolstation It's much cheaper than Halfords (£2 60 for 10 sheet vs £2 99 for 4 sheets) I use Toolstation for most of my DIY-type purchases due to the very good prices Don't have a Toolstation so postage, Halfords next door to M S, got a lift from my wife John W

Great looking finish especially as it's done with rattle cans I used to use a lot of Halfords paint, which is very good, but eventually bought an airbrush I'm going to give Railmatch acrylics a go as I've never used them before and my LMS stocks them so easy to get hold of quick

I used Halfords "Wet and Dry Paper 2500" for the job I can't remember how much I paid for it but a couple of pound at the most The paper was a breeze to use and i was really happy with the result I set myself up as I did the other day, out in the garden - sun is shining, very little wind and not too cold

Halfords stores vary greatly in quality, some of the staff would be hard pushed to boil water, however I was pleasantly surprised on my last visit to Halfords in derby, the lad that served me actually listened to what I had to say, came out to my car and took out my old stereo,he found that I already had the adapter lead, but then, the new stereo I wanted was not in stock, so he knocked some
