I’ve had two MBNA cards for several years now and throughout that time they’ve always had ‘existing customer’ balance transfer and money transfer offers available – usually something like 4%–5% fee for 12 months

I'm another satisfied MBNA customer As others have said, constantly offering 14 months 0% balance transfers or money transfers (which can be more handy than a balance transfer) The only thing that's a bit frustrating is I usually get offered them with a fee of 4 5% for BT and 5 0% for MT, which means a bank loan for me, could well be cheaper

I used MBNA's soft checker to find a suitable balance transfer card and found one which was a 1% BT fee, 0% for 26 months, balance transfer card Soft checker gave me a credit limit of £6,900, of which ~£6,200 could be applied towards balance transfers

I recently applied and got an MBNA 4 9% card to use for money transfers I did one initial transfer for around £8K into my bank account but because it was a new bank account (and the details were different to the one in my application form), it seemed to trip up on their fraud indicators
