I log into disney plus on google chrome I hover my cursor on the profile on the top right and click on app settings and it tells you under data usage that there are three options: automatic, moderate and save data For automatic it says it streams in the highest quality available up to 4k uhd You should find it now

Disney Plus (4K) Tubi Peacock TLDR: Browsers are fine they can do 4k playback but they don't support the same DRM as UWP app And Disney is the problem Disney doesn't allow any of their media to be played at anything beyond 720p (Movies Anywhere, Hulu, Disney+) on a Windows PC
