If you stick to cartridges, you are pretty much limited to Pilot cartridges Pilot doesn't use standard cartridges, but their own kind If you get a pilot converter (basically a refillable cartridge), then you can use whatever ink you want Pilot converters have special names, which is why you'll hear ppl calling them con-20 or con-50 or con-70

Does the pilot kakuno take any ink cartridge? I bought some Montblanc ink cartridges and I also want to buy a Kakuno, will it be able to use them?

The Kakuno really has the absolute best price-quality ratio imo There are just two things I'd love for Pilot to improve: better cap seal better barrel section seal (I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but often times when I uncap my Kakunos, I tend to feel that the barrel screws open on its own

As much as I loved the Pilot <1 0> nib, I found the Kakuno too light, 11 grams posted, and the Section too fat So I retired the two I have, and I retired the Metro, too

Hi Reddit, my pilot kakuno EF randomly stopped working today and I’m unsure why The black words on the paper was actually previously written by this kakuno but now there’s no ink flow! I took the nib out and rinsed it too but it’s still in this state

The Pilot Kakuno is known not to seal all that well against evaporation; but if you can manage to use up a fill of PCB ink within a week, then there should be no problem whatsoever
