The issue I'm having is that I'm adding a field to the tool-tip but it does not appear in the tool-tip I've attached a screenshot of the tool-tip editor showing the field and text and lines in the tool-tip that says "Test"

They still display as expected when using Tableau Desktop (10 5 6), but once published to Tableau Server (10 5 1) they disappear However, the tooltips for the other 4 dashboards still appear like normal on the server

When you have a discrete value on the rows shelf Tableau will read it as a "Header", and you'll normally see a grey 'Abc' to the right of it as there is no value currently displayed Bring [case count] from the rows shelf to the Text section of your marks pane as a discrete value
