So, my new (to me) 2007 Rebel is currently at 154 miles driven since my last fill-up, and I haven't had to switch to reserve yet I am pretty much jumping for joy at this nearly 70mpg result! What is the typical MPG that should be expected from a Rebel?

I bought a Honda 250 Rebel a week ago I would like to know on average what the gas mileage would be for a 220 to 225 pound person I realize I may be a little big for this bike but it was all I could afford at this time I plan on getting a bigger bike by this time next year and give this Rebel to my wife

That means better gas mileage as well In the Spring I don't get as good a gas mileage as in the Fall, because the Spring has winter gas, and the Fall has summer gas Motorcycles wreck for 4 reasons 1) 95% The other vehicle 2) Riding tired or distracted 3) Doing something stupid 4) Lack of proper maintenance Or a combination of the above

I have an '85 Rebel, it gets about 55 mpg around town Most people boast about 75 MPG when i look online I've done math several times so I know I'm right at 55 Is my bike in need of a tune up? Or do most people overestimate mileage? What is the first place to start if it needs to be be tuned up?
