They work like a hearing aid and provide excellent hearing protection Also use Axil when I want to play music while shooting alone The soundgear also have bluetooth but sincde they are very similar to hearing aids, and your body can interfere with the bluetooth signal if you have the phone in a bag or back pocket
- Tetra vs ESP vs. Harris and Sons ear protection or other. . .
With Tetra, you can take their online hearing test or better yet send in your recent hearing test results and they will tailor the devices for your hearing loss Harris Sons also offers this service, but at over 2X the price of the Tetras Harris Sons does include Bluetooth, but that was not worth the extra $$$ for me

I have axil xcors I would call them acceptable at best They are decent for the $100 (constantly on sale) investment But, if I bought another pair of in-ears, I would probably look towards the Ottos or a custom option - Soundgear Phantom is a good option here Check with your insurance and see if you get any kind of coverage for hearing protection
