Scotiabank offers a website link to a 20% discount - the discount only applies if you start your return using the link on turbotax you are redirected to - If you start the return without the discount code you will be denied your discount - even though there are no conditions shown on the turbo tax site you are redirected to that you cannot start your return on the turbo tax website on your own

Why are turbo tax only giving a 15% discount through scotiabank when the scotiabank site says 20% Agreed will be using a different filing service next year Currently cannot get the 20% off with Scotiabank even after calling TurboTax's customer service and spending an hour on the phone with them going in circles

This 40% glitch is still in place, it seems, or it's just a fake marketing offer, trying to get us through an email offer to use TurboTax again, go through all the steps of preparing our tax return and hope that we forget about that 40% off offer by the time we get to checkout screen:
