The only workaround I've been able to work with has been to turn OFF the New Outlook UI and revert to the classic Outlook UI on Mac Not the worst thing I suppose, but it certainly will require heavy adjustment as I have not used the old UI before I will confirm that Classic UI works as expected without issue

Hi Lee, There are two ways to sync contacts (and calendar) with the phone- use Outlook com account for your contacts and connect it to outlook and the phone as an Exchange account Or use a 3rd party utility - companionlink or gsyncit are my recommendations - to sync outlook with your gmail account, which then syncs to the phone
