We took the Village Italy tour in mid October 2019 and the weather was absolutely beautiful the entire time I brought a light rain jacket with a zip in out liner from LL Bean and rarely needed it except for a few times We only had rain on the last day of the tour

Both tours are very good but I would say the Village Italy tour is better because it offers a greater variety of experiences, the villages have more distinct characters and things to see You can add Florence onto the front end of the Village Italy tour My vote is for Village Italy
