The only 8" I see in Samsung's lineup is the Tab A9 I know that it does not come with its own stylus, but can it be used with a third-party one, like the one from the S7 or the Kindle Scribe's?

It has a sharp tip, so it's supposedly better for drawing, but there's a small delay between the touch and the response on the screen So if you have bought the Tab, you'd better bring it to the store so that you can try and find which universal stylus is fully compatible with the Tab

If the A9+ doesn't have S Pen support, it doesn't have the hardware to support any active styluses (I think) You could buy a capacitive stylus but I think you won't have wrist rejection with that

Unfortunately, Tab A9+ is not compatible with S-PEN, you can use 3rd party "stylus" ones, but they won't be anything like original S-PEN, as they don't have things like palm rejection and so on
