Soft scrub is primarily calcium carbonate and is a mechanical, gentle, abrasive cleaner The more obvious difference between the two are the different surfaces they can be used on Soft scrub can be used on more surfaces, but BKF is more helpful if you are looking to tackle a more difficult and or restorative clean

I’ve tried the spray version as well as the “soft scrub” type thick liquid but after multiple applications still have a layer of grime or water stains on my glass shower stall wall Have tired magic erasers, 0000 steel wool for glass, Clorox clean up spray, all kinds of things and a thin layer is still there, taunting me
