UPDATE: Five days later I returned to my work office and I logged on to Facebook No problem signing on, but had a bunch of "We prevented a login - Someone used your details to try and log in, but we stopped them Change your password now Someone has access to your login details and may try to log in again " notifications

I purchased a new android device and tried to log into FB and was asked for a login code but no code was ever sent and I never set up a secondary 2FA code app I use FB primarily for my business and as you can imagine, not having access has caused significant disruption to my ability to advertise and engage with customers via my business page

You need to go on the Facebook app and remove McDonald’s permissions Then you have to go back to the McDonald app and login via Facebook and when the pop up opens, make sure to select “edit what I share” or something like this and make sure to untick the email Then you should click ok continue and you’re good to go!

This solution only applies when the hacker has changed the password to your FB acct, and also changed your email phone contact info so even after Facebook sends you a temporary login link--when you try to change the info back to your real email phone, it asks for the "new current" password which you still don't have
