  • My review of the Revolution ring pinion - Jeep Wrangler TJ Forum
In addition to that the quality of these Revolution gears (which are some of the only gears still made in the USA) is amazing I'm more than impressed to say the least, and they go well with my 4340 Revolution chromoly rear axles In conclusion I highly, highly recommend Revolution ring pinions
  • Yukon vs Revolution Gears and Install Kits - Jeep Wrangler Forum
When comparing Yukon and Revolution gears for a Jeep TJ re-gear, the primary difference lies in the consistency of the gear origin Revolution gears are consistently manufactured by Circle K in Korea Yukon gears, on the other hand, may vary in origin, potentially including Circle K or OEM, depending on the specific gear set and current stock
  • Anybody used Revolution Gears - Jeep Wrangler Forum
Revolution Gears are a newer brand owned by Mac McMillan, formerly of Superior Axle They are manufactured in the same Korean factory as Yukon gears, but to McMillan's specifications, including double polishing lapping Revolution offers a 2-year warranty, longer than Yukon's 1-year warranty While a newer product, McMillan's industry experience and reputation, along with positive mentions
  • What Im hearing about ring pinion quality - Jeep Wrangler TJ Forum
Yeah I should check with revolution and see where theirs are made Interesting @Jerry Bransford knows a lot about the Revolution gears, but I believe he said they are made by Circle K in Korea I'm sure he'll chime in shortly
  • Bought Yukon Gears, is it a mistake? | Jeep Wrangler Forum
Yukon gears are also Cryogenically Treated Tempered Revolution are heat treated The difference is cryo tightens up the molecules making the gears slightly stronger but more wear resistant whereas heat treating makes them a bit stronger Many manufacturers do neither
  • What brand differntial gears to buy? | Jeep Wrangler Forum
I just had revolution installed Went from 3 21 to 4 10 on 285 75 17 ridge grapplers Smooth and pleased with the power My shop used revolution and does a lot of gears They also kept the Jeep for two extra days so they could properly heat cycle them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  • Hierarchy of ring and pinion manufacturers in this day and age?
Most set-up problems I have seen are with G2 and Yukon Gears But that aside, Yukon, Revolution, G2 and many other gears are the same thing from the same factory in Korea (they will be stamped with the circle "K" logo) Argue about differences all you want; they are the same thing and the differences are just general manufacturing tolerance issues
  • Yukon gears: myth or fact? - Jeep Wrangler TJ Forum
Thank you for confirming that Jerry! On another note would g2 or revolution gears be the best choice? Definitely go with RGA
