- Is McAfee antivirus any good? : r antivirus - Reddit
Although now in 2018, it would have had to improve over the years, right? Reason is, my dad bought McAfee full protection softwear (with the rebate he pays $0, which is why he did it) and the protection can go on 10 different devices I figure a full, complete antivirus that was bought would be better than regular level free antivirus

Do I need McAfee? I've had McAfee for around 4 months now, I haven't downloaded anything sketchy for it to catch, and its supposedly "protected" me from 58k risky connections, most of which were from other applications (Discord, Steam, Curseforge, etc)

- When you realize that McAfee is pure malware : r Windows10 - Reddit
Enterprise They're still quite good, Norton in particular, at being an antivirus Norton's enterprise version was (and probably still is) pretty decent - and I would prefer to have more rather than fewer competing players in the market That being said, for the home user, particularly on older hardware or low-power mobile devices the best option is still Windows Defender imo Reply reply
