30 votes, 28 comments trueI thought something was wrong with my setup I use a 4k projector connected to a windows media PC and disney+ and especially Loki looks awful There is no way I can figure out to get better than 720p Loki especially is a grainy blurry mess to watch on using disney+ app or through the browser It looks like with Loki someone turned the film grain up to maximum 🤦

On MacBook or PC there is no actual way to stream at 4k even when I connect to my 4k TV with HDMI I want to use my computer because that is how I sync my hue lights and speakers with media, does anyone know a way I can stream Disney plus at 4k on my computer?

Today I just signed a Disney+ sub to watch the new Ahsoka series I got an awful surprise when I loaded up the episode and it was extremely blurry, 720p clearly When I contacted support, I was that because my internet used IPv6, Disney+ could not run at 1080p I have since disabled IPv6, and still only get 720p How in the world this is possible in 2023 is beyond me Just a rant

86 votes, 41 comments trueu CaptainSpranklez Supposedly, according to Disney+ tech support, you should get high bitrate 1080p streams on Windows (and 5 1 audio) using the Disney+ app available on the Microsoft Store Safari on Mac OS, which is what I personally use, get a very healthy, surprisingly high bitrate, 1080p stream There is no Disney+ app on Mac OS at the moment
