I'm looking to get back into home recording (guitar, and vocal recordings with drum plugins) Back in 2008 at school, I torrented pretty much all of my recording set up Now I actually have a job and money so am wondering: would there be a downside to torrenting as much as possible these days in terms of, say, audio quality, damage to pc, ethical taboos, distribution of finished music etc?
