My theory is that it is likley a bot farm that FB is using to make phony inquiries to make us think that FB marketplace is always poppin, when it really isnt, and is riffe with scammers I always use "reply with phone # and I will call you now to make arrangements" and that usually flushes out the serious buyers vs scammers or bots

I gave out my phone number when I first started selling on Facebook Marketplace It was a huge mistake I've had 6 different attempts of someone trying to hack my account Don't give out your phone number It is not needed for a sale Sold three things in the past month and all were done communicating through messenger

Okay I got it fixed, I hit up the link facebook give out if it doesnt work I hit a random post and click "send messege" to dealer and it gives me options to set up a market place account again And thats it, I got it back after 4 months of not having facebook marketplace Hope it helps!

Hi, I normally buy stuff from fb marketplace to flip but recently I have noticed when I click 'sort by new' it will show me posts from 5 days ago etc whereas usually it would show items posted mere minutes ago

I only use my phone for Facebook marketplace in had never had a problem marking pending or sold In addition of I agree with you anything less than $20 for me isn't worth selling At that point i just post it as free,and add the address and state it's on the curb or the porch depending on the weather However, I will make bundles
