Isn't always needed, but some weapons, like many status beam types, can struggle against Acolytes, so say like having a Primary and Secondary beam, with low damage, crit, and good status, and then a weak melee

One: You're comparing the Nemesis (Kuva Tenet) weapons to normal gear, which is already a mistake

They don't use ammo, have natural AOE potential, and some have insane dps burst on single targets which makes them basically best in slot for many things in endgame build scenarios since only a few weapons can compete with that kind of stuff

As for weapons, even old-school weapons like the Nikana Prime should be able to make fairly quick work of Acolytes if modded properly So this might be a place to investigate whether you have room for growth; in Warframe, a minor adjustment to modding can often result in exponentially more damage
