when I open in Word Pad, it is scrambled and cannot read JPEG files usually cannot be opened by Wordpad because they are not text or Rich Text documents They're image files and of course they won't be decipherable when opened in Wordpad You need to open the jpg file in an image viewing program like Paint or IrfanView
