Classic and Vintage Bicycles: Whats it Worth? Appraisals - 7-11 Team Bike? - The seller claims this is a Serotta-built 1988 team bike Mixed parts spec and weird paint job, but it looks legit Anyone have a rough guess as to value?
- Bianchi Serial Number Identification - Bike Forums
Classic Vintage - Bianchi Serial Number Identification - Is there a site that has the Bianchi serial numbers cross refferences with date of manufacture? I tried e-mail Bianchiusa and they told me there "is no serial number database" that they can look at to tell me more about my bike I find that odd,
- Nishiki Serial Number Database - Bike Forums
Nishiki did offer some uncataloged, high end racing models during this period, so perhaps this equivalent touring model? BTW, is there a Kawamura decal on the chainstays? Yes, I know they didn't have it in 1988 or 1991, but I didn't think of of checking 1987 on the premise that they might have skipped a year! Thxs for pointing that out

- Bike Forums - Anyone have information on a bike? Lotus Excelle . . .
Your bike is probably a 1988-89 model Excelle, given the shadow font on the Excelle decal and the fade paint scheme Obviously now we know the Excelle was promoted from the Sport Series to the Triathlon Series after 1987 Your bike was probably the last of it's kind for Lotus as they stopped making bikes around 1990-ish
- Bike Forums - Nishiki Serial Number Database
Your Colorado was built by Giant of Taiwan during weeks 27-28 of 1987 However, based on the decal style, yellow to blue faded paint scheme and presence of the chainstay mounted U-brake it is a 1988 model It was 4th in Nishiki's line of ATB models and had an MSRP of $390 US The frame is an unspecified plain gauge CrMo tubeset and the component group was primarily Shimano Exage Mountain
