The plating is a copper wash that isn’t really a jacket, and 22 uses a heeled bullet with a big exposed lead base A few rounds of 22 won’t hurt it, but if you shoot a few hundred, you’re going to get a bunch of lead deposits

Yes Henry large loop lever 22 (H001L?) Took the barrel in to be threaded but shortened cut the rearward end of the magazine tube myself with a tubing cutter Very simple to do and the Henry is easy to take apart I run a 4x scope on it so didn’t worry about the front plastic sight being perfectly solid secure Pros: cheap rifle to mod, works well with any ammo Cons: It is kind of a pain
