Crossing the jumper cables usually damages the alternator, and that 2G is already known to be a dangerous design It won't affect how the engine runs (or not), but I suggest you disconnect its wiring, and start reading up how easy it is to swap in a '93-96 3G

I have a 1985 F-150 4x4 with a 5 0 The engine is bad and so I got a hold of a 1989 Ford Bronco 4x4 also with a 5 0 that is in good condition The Bronco is rough except for motor t-case axles and interior so i have decided to fix up the F-150 My question is will the 5 0 from the bronco bolt to the tranny and wire up to the F-150? The trannys are different between the two trucks Any help

I was wondering what supercharger will bolt onto my 5 4L Triton I dont really care for the Roush and was looking at the KB superchargers The main reason why I ask if a 03 04 Cobra Supercharger can fit mine is because the throttle bore is massive and I can get an oval Accufab for it and flow a hell of alot more then stock round throttle bodies Another thing, I like KB's 2 2L and 2 4L

The 2G alternator - fire hazard The '93-02 red SCDS was built wrong, and should be changed to the black revision The distributor-mounted ICM was made wrong, and needs either replacement, or relocation Even Ford made some mistakes (but not many), and the KS was one of them
