The 777X will happen when BA is able to focus on completing it and it could be 2026 or even 27 at this point but there really is nothing the customers can do Not sure I agree with that the 777-9 is larger than the A350-1000 but not hugely more It also (from my understanding) needs very high load factors to beat the economics of the A350
