- 7PRC loads velocities - Long Range Hunting Forum
I don't see much to gain by switching from a 300WM to a 7PRC Either will run a 180gr bullet at 3,000 FPS The 180gr PRC bullet will have a higher BC but the WM can utilize heavier, higher BC bullets at less velocity Either cartridge should get the job done
- Working up 1st 7PRC Load . . . hmmm - Long Range Hunting Forum
I was hoping I'd get something that would be a 700-800y gun, even with that barrel, given the hype of the 7PRC for performance I am figuring out that I may not have realistic expectations
- 7mm PRC load - Long Range Hunting Forum
FWIW - my 7PRC would not shoot the Hornady 180 ELD-M bullets but seems to group with their 162 E -M bullets I have only used Peterson brass and Fed 215M primers so far
- 7mm PRC vs 7LRM - Long Range Hunting Forum
I think that the 7PRC is what every 7mm enthusiast has desired since the 7mmRemMag came out with a belted casing Now, reloaders can set the headspace entirely off the shoulder of the casing and not worry about a belt to set headspace
- Best 7 PRC Bullet? - Long Range Hunting Forum
Was an older box and yes I was told it's been fixed but like I said I don't think I can trust them and I've never had an issue ever with Berger Good info I haven't heard of a newer one having issues Plus the 7PRC won't be pushing them at 3k So I believe it's a non issue on both fronts
- What Muzzle Break to use for new 7 PRC - Long Range Hunting Forum
I bought a Ti-Pro3 for my 7PRC I didn't feel that the 4-5 port option was needed and decided that the shorter brake was a good balance on a 26" bbl Several of my rifles have Kirby's 3 port PK brake on them His brakes work VERY well at reducing recoil and muzzle rise
- Expert Gear Reviews Tactical Tips - Long Range Hunting Forum
Part of the issue is that they are trying to maintain box velocity but are unable to get the rl26 powder that they originally used during the launch of the 7prc
- 280ai and 7 prc starting loads and advise - Long Range Hunting Forum
I finished load development on another 7PRC yesterday It is the fifth one I have done recently, and all of them did very well with N568 175 ELDX and 175 Berger EOL's ended up averaging high 2800's in speed, and accuracy was outstanding
