Canon iR4080 - Scan to e-mail End Code 801 and 899 01-08-2008, 11:26 PM Hi, I have a very strange issue that popped up with about 6 of our canon iR4080 Copiers About a month ago they all started having issues reaching the SMTP server to send a scanned document to email

#801 [SMB] Sending to a shared folder Cause= -The destination is full or out of available free space to write to -The user account does not have proper privileges or enough disk space quota available for this user account to write to this destination -The SMB client setting is not turned ON or not properly configured on the copier machine

I do not have access to the server to check permissions on the folder (I did see that "801" is a write permissions issue) But I can explore from the users workstation to the folders, and have tried making a new one touch with the same directory info (\\server\data 1st line entry, \office\scans\username 2nd line entry and her logon credentials

Join Date: Nov 2007 Posts: 49 #1 Send to email, error#801 04-30-2008, 09:18 PM Hi, all I could not make "scan to email" to work and got report showing end code is #801 I m using ISP sending and receiving email and get DNS server address and domain name by DHCP then changed to static IP I aslo entered SMTP server Address same as my outlook
- Scan to Email smtpc: conection closed (8000) then (802)
