- How to set the new domain as the default Log on to after migration?
I hope the default "Log on to" for Windows XP clients after user computer account migration is the new domain, so that users can log on to the new domain directly without selecting the new domain name in the "Log on to" domain name list By default, the "Log on to" is still the old domain after migration What shall I do? This will return all the WMI info (genus, class, superclass, etc ) that most people (including myself) won't need To limit it to the desired fields, get a broader intial query (I use * instead of groupcomponent) then add a select-object looking for the groupcomponent and partcomponent gwmi -Query "select * from mscluster_nodetoactivegroup" -namespace root\mscluster -computername 192 168 1 2

Ok, I have a couple AD sites, (AD1, and AD2) Currently, all subnets sit in AD1 My Exchange servers live in subnet 100 is one of those subnets in AD1 What all do I need to consider if I just want to associate the 100 subnet to AD site AD2? I will not be changing IP subnets, just the AD site association I have two Exchange 2010 SP3 servers, with all roles installed on each

Perhaps not coincidentally there is an apparent issue with today's 700MB update for windows 8 1 (3000850) which some are saying is actually intended for server 2012???
