Amsoil EAO filters tout 99% filtration @20microns, but the test done by Ascent Filtration Labs shows Fram XG 99% @15microns For the price, I would hope Amsoil is a better quality filter, but Fram seems to filter down pretty well Any thoughts?

If I am buying Amsoil, I really don't see the point of buying anything other than their Signature Series Then again, I live in the US and there are plenty of quality oils available at Walmart for under $6 qt that are extremely comparable to Amsoil's Extended Life (and below) products

Amsoil has 2 0W-20's that are API-certified, the 'XL' and 'OE' 0W-20 IF you want to go with Amsoil, maybe choose one of those I'm not an Amsoil user, but Amsoil fans seem to react pretty violently when the possible warranty implications of using Signature Series are brought up

Amsoil doesn't encourage extending OCI without UOAs, or in severe service conditions They also recommend regular filter intervals and there are qualifications on 100K+ cars I don't do super extended changes, but their recommendations, if followed, are sound; there are several 20-27K miles OCI documented on this site
