Thinking about downsizing to fund other things Is it worth paying for a month or 2 of Armslist now that its needed to sell? I've had good luck in the past but its been a long time since I've paid any attention to it I know there's also gunbroker, but I don't want to deal with the hassle of shipping Same with the EE (as far as FFL required items are concerned) ETA: Armslist must be dead

But Armslist is intended for local, face to face transactions Kinda hard to get scammed face to face My biggest complaint about Armslist is the flakes (someone who says, "I'll take it " And then POOF, just disappears) and the tire kickers (someone who asks 100 questions and or asks for a ton of additional photos, but isn't serious about buying)

Yep, that was another "choice" thing about Armslist - 98% of the ads (like THOUSANDS of them) were all from this drop-shipping lowlife "dealer" in the southern part of the state who had zero in stock but suckered buyers with talk about his "warehouses" (distributors) It was an odd name - a common name, but started with a Z instead

Armslist used to be very popular here, and private party ads used to outnumber dealer ads But now, the vast majority of ads are dealers This latest stunt is only going to drive away the few individuals who still post ads Armslist really seems to be trying to discourage private individuals
