Is there any possible chance at the ARTCC and aircraft using digital signals in the future during their flights? If so, what format do you think they would use? Also, are the ARTCC sites assigned frequencies, or can they switch to other frequencies at will? I never really thought much of it I

Amazing that US FAA cannot enforce a complete SOP center policy giving compliance to sectors info on lat log like ZOB or anyway we're in the FAA, like to see Canada Airnav to follow with there SOPs, wishful thinking

I always just figured they would be cleared to FL600 then above that it would be, "radar services terminated, cleared enroute" sort of

There are many RCAG sites and frequencies that are not shown on the aeronatical charts The RR ARTCC Database is the best reference I'm aware of, but relies on volunteers to keep it updated Still better than the FAA, but they seem to be getting better

New York ZNY ARTCC (Air Route Traffic Control Center) transmits receives from the Matawan, NJ RCAG site (near Morganville, NJ) Latest FAA data indicates the Sector 42 (127 175) RCAG is now co-located with the Stillwater VOR Which makes more sense given the location of that sector There's nothing listed for Matawan anymore
