Guys, no need for a mod If you want to abdicate and have the new ruler's dad alive, you keep imprisoning and releasing a vassal till they rebel Then click Surrender and one of the angry vassal's demands will be abdication The old ruler might die without titles though, as the game kills off rulers with no titles fairly fast

I'd recommend against it It's not intended to be used as an abdication mechanic and is extremely gamey You will enjoy it the first few times and then it will spoil a part of the game for you Alternatively, maybe you are a dirty cheater and enjoy that style of play That's okay too
