layering sounds with a proper mixdown can get you nice full results Have a couple layered sounds as your bass or lead, and let one take up the low mids to mids, and let the other take most the the highs *** I'm not trying to just promote myself, but as a recent example, I used this method on a song i recently completed and i think the sounds are pretty full, but not really in the same way

I put Live 8 through the hoops this weekend-- a lot of recording, external effects, VST's It held up with no crashes!!! I am quite pleased about that, since I had had some crashes One bug I noticed was when I had been working a couple of hours, I would notice that some of the tabs on the left disappeared I still had the three File locations, but I was missing the VST tab and the Live plug

It is rumoured to also be the Roomworks reverb in Cubase (licensed but with a different GUI), which oddly enough many people don't like so much (although I always found it acceptable for some uses, especially snares) Glaceverb is another great free reverb
