I hemmed and hawed about purchasing it because they were asking quite a bit more money for it (a brasser!) than a Pietta 1851 Navy steel I had purchased from them a month or so earlier on sale for $170 (those were the days: Cabela's does not sell revolvers online anymore, thanks no thanks to Bass Pro Shop's calling the shots these days)

I'm in the minority - you'll see the Bass Pro Cabela whiners seem to like to hijack these threads My problem with Bass is how they ship ammo, much more so than service I receive at my local store That being said, I am usually a fan of shopping local stores if the price differential is minimal, or of course if the local shop is cheaper

Donkee- I am semi familiar with Fenton, though I do have to admit I mostly stick to the Davison Burton Flint area Occasionally I will head down to use the Indoor range at the Bass Pro Shop at Great Lakes Crossing (only shot my Remington Model 597 22 rinfire rifle there, haven even had my WASR-10 a month yet)
