Hello Russ, whell when we dug in a few of these lakes , which there is no less than 20 of em here in colorado , I observed deeply wheathered kimberlite and csalcuim carbonate build up on the shorelines I did find pieces of eclogite at a few of the lakes but , from research on some of the world class kimberlite pipes in canada which are under lakes , they all have the good kimberlite buried

ive been playing around with a small DC powered blacklight i dont know if its a short or long wave but is there a visual difference in using these two sources on diamonds? do diamonds from different areas illuminate as different colors? i tried it on my wifes wedding ring and only 1 stone illuminated as a dull green the others looked like a dull purple now my wifes looking at me kinda
