The repair shop I took my Malibu to because of the message "Service Vehicle Soon" told me they always treat the two batteries as a set That's how they handled my repair along with reprogramming the battery control module I haven't had any problems since and my auto stop start works great - that's another sign both your batteries are in good

So yes my Malibu catches the Holy Ghost most mornings on the way to work!! I push her sometimes due to the traffic I sit in most days coming home Not too aggressive, but yes I’ll hit 5k Rpms off the red light and merge on to highway and at 5am it’s open road so I hit about 60-75 and will hold it for most of the trip (35-45 mins depending)
