The Quadra is now shipping as the "Quadra4K" This is a fairly minor upgrade to the original Quadra utilizing a newer CPU that runs cooler so no fan stand hub needed

If you can, run the "Quadra Ham Apps Installer" from the "Ham Radio" menu under "Applications" Select HamClock and it will rebuild it from source and install it In the event all that fails, you may need to do a factory restore (search for "factory restore") on this forum

The first issue sounds like a transient problem as I haven't heard of anyone else reporting this recently However, you can also rebuild HamClock from source using the "Quadra Ham Apps Installer" in the "Ham Radio" menu Note that not all these apps are the latest and or tested on the quadra4K, but I have undated HamClock It will build both the HD and 4K versions to the latest release
