The TransAbdominal Ultrasound shows distended gallbladder, but no stones I dont have much pain on Right Upper Quadrant or epigastric area although there is bloating there, and now I know its due to gallbladder distenstion However, i do get gas, nausea and belching plus back pain and right flank pain Is this normal or shuld i get CT scan or HIDA scan to find out more whats going on ?

hi and yes a distended gall is not good and also a dilated bile duct is a concern your digestive system is out of wack cause is gall your gall is probably very sick causing high blood pressure and pain, nausea, vomiting or dry heaves also the cause of a dilated bile duct means you probably had a stone stuck there that can cause you very bad discomfort hope you understand all the symptoms

Hello all, Has anyone out there who has had the Gall Bladder op still got a distended stomach 7 + weeks after operation ? I am back at work now but still cannot do my trousers up as tummy so distended Have a special occasion coming up where I would like to wear a lovely semi-fitting dress - but at the moment look 7 months pregnant (not poss for a 60 year old lol) but seriously am getting

I could feel my gallbladder a year or so after my removal and went to the Doctors and was told it was psychosomatic This past year since has been a nightmare I now have a post operative mass in the gallbladder sight and am awaiting surgery to remove it and see what it is
