Alternative sites to Monkeytype? Hi all, I’m wondering if there are any good alternatives to monkey type? Keybr is much better as a beginner than monkey type I actually started at TypingClub just to get familiar with which finger to type which keys, once I was a comfortable I then progressed to keybr got green on all letters, I am now using monkeytype which seems the next logical step Long road ahead Each site seems to have it's advantages, I would have been frustrated to start on monkeytype

Hi, I found out about MonkeyType a month or so ago It is a very well-made site to practice speed typing However, in all the modes I found, the text is just a mashup of words that don't go together I feel like I can type faster with real sentences because I can predict and prepare for the next word Is there a setting to achieve that? How about the word list and "stop on word" settings? Gary Internet’s Typing Guide (linked in this sub) is pretty emphatic that these two settings are essential to getting useful practice in MonkeyType
