Alltel started phasing out the OTC process entirely, effective September 2007 I'm not sure if it's totally phased out yet, but it must be pretty close to that by now! With the demise of OTC, replacement in-store is very rare now

My mom was on a grandfathered Alltel prepaid plan, but we decided to go to Expo Mobile to get a much more reasonable rate per minute ($0 02 minute on Expo Mobile versus $0 15 minute on that old Alltel plan) How long do I need to wait until the Gusto 3 will be clear to put onto an MVNO? Cellcom CDMA service uses their own unique SID (00362) The AMPS SID sharing is probably historically rooted in some previous switch sharing agreement The current ALLTEL system in MI WI used to be CenturyTel and Cellcom was probably running off of one of their switches in the old days, that's why they have the same SID on AMPS
