- Amino Acids: Are They Worth It? | Reef2Reef
On top of this, zooxanthellae can also absorb amino acids as a source of nitrogen, which can be used to create biomolecules which get transferred to the coral and used for growth
- Amino Acid Dosing—which brand should I use? | Reef2Reef
While I have made many positive changes to my aquarium so far, I’m always looking for more ways to improve coral health and growth, and one that I know many people use is amino acid dosing I’m curious as to the benefits of doing so, aside from being another nutrient source for the corals

- Mixing all for reef with amino acid. | Reef2Reef
I would say mixing the two is probably not ideal All for reef itself is a organic mixture with added iron compounds By it's own, it is able to support some bacteria growth If amino acid is mixed in, perhaps the bacteria growth will be even faster
- Selcon vs Brightwell AminoOmega and Vitamarin-M | Reef2Reef
I know Selcon is extremely popular and has earned its reputation as an excellent product I used it for a while then switched to a Brightwell combo that I found allowed me to dial in my ratio of vitamins to aminos, get a little more essential fats and aminos, and is cheaper I put this out there
