Anjanath reminds me lf giant Proceratosaurs however, the ancestors of Tyrannosaurs, like Yutyrannus and Sinotyrannus, and I absolutely adore this I hope they make a ton more dinosaurs in the future, especially a proper Spinosaur boss and Ceratopsian boss

Honestly, Anjanath was the only "real" wall in base World imo, for everything else you can farm different armor sets for different encounters I used basically a different kind of set for every monster because I kept reading about "being prepared" duh

every monster before Anjanath is a Tutorial of some kind, Jagras is a punching bag, Kulu teaches you to use the slinger, pukei is about abnormal status Anjanath is the first creature, that deserves the title of *MONSTER*, cuz he is an actual savage force of nature and once you fought and beat him, the actual game starts

I killed Anjanath with DB I stayed near his legs and spinned from left to right and back all the time with Double Circle (PS4) Sometimes you need to dodge roll It takes some time to get used to him but it is possible

Anjanath was the monster that taught me that it's not enough to avoid getting hit - but you also have to avoid getting into situations where you cannot avoid getting hit anymore It's the first monster that can basically perform combos on you, and you want to avoid being caught in one

Sometimes people in the MH community like to talk about how fast you “should” be finishing hunts during your story clears And yeah, sure, experienced players can kill Anjanath a lot faster than 20m with your same gear…but you aren’t experienced yet Hunts can take a while on your first MH game I had a few 40m hunts when I first started
