You will have the Barclaycard Cashback credit card presumably, which earns 0 5% cashback This is the Barclaycard Rewards credit card, which earns half that Your card can't simultaneously be both and unless you do a lot of spending overseas I can't see a good reason to transition!

If you have a credit on a card (which the banks won't like) you can then move the money from the card and pay off your friend So if you then take the money off the card via an ATM (assuming your card is completely in credit) then you can deposit that into a current account and transfer it to your friend

I just applied for a Barclay Amazon credit card after reading the Weekly Email and got a £50 Amazon gift card and the cashback is better than the Pulse credit card I currently use The only downside is I just bought my daughter a £400 freezer last week and paid it using the Pulse card and there is no cashback for balance transfers

Otherwise, you are breaking the T C put your card in credit To make sure you will need to check your CC online A C anytime you do a purchase which means doing work unnecessarily? Also like other posters have said, doing this you are not taking advantage of the interest-free period of at least one month
