You might think about doing antelope instead because with 7 points you can draw a pretty good tag But 7 points doesn't get you much for deer or elk For sure but elk hunting is more physically demanding so I am wanting to use those while my old man can still get up and down the mountain

Another fun experience here in Idaho for you guys, my 11 year old drew this antelope doe tag in the 2nd draw this year, we didn’t have a lot of time to hunt it but it was within a 1 1 2-2 hr drive from home

A great and under rated cartridge! Congrats and good luck, but be careful where you hit the antelope! With all the new 6 5's hitting the scene I thought it will be cool to breathe some life into one of the original western hunting cartridges I'm going to try to put that VLD right into the crease!

As a resident, I drew deer, elk, and antelope last year It appears from looking at my application numbers I'm a lock for elk and antelope this year with a very good chance for the trifecta again But still no bighorn after 55 years

I hunted Antelope out of Gillette a long time ago, tons of fun, horrible tasting beasts! Worst meat I've ever eaten, and they didn't go bad either, smelled like that right on the ground
