Bambu studio is literally a fork of prusa slicer, they should slice and behave nearly identically If anything use OrcaSlicer It should be able to be an all in one slicer for all your machines

Just got my first 3D printer this weekend and I've been experimenting with it A friend mentioned I should try tree supports but I can't figure out how to turn it on A few posts and Youtube videos said to go into "print settings" and select "organic", but I'm not seeing any such option in my copy of PrusaSlicer 2 6 1 Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

trueI switched over to PrusaSlicer back in 2020 when I had issues printing face shields sliced with Cura PrusaSlicer worked so much better, I have done test prints to see which one is better for my set up since then Hands down PrusaSlicer results in better print quality and faster prints even with the same settings for speed

I tried the OrcaSlicer profile software and it worked pretty good I believe Orca is just reskinned Prusa for the most part, I would try that Orca Profile with PrusaSlicer and see what happens

Supports might be better in Prusa Slicer, but Bambu Studio has so many Bambu-Printer-Specific features that might make your life more difficult if you didn't have them For example AMS syncing, the different build plates and many material profiles included, starting prints and controlling the printer remotely, and more

So, as the title says: Is there any way I can force the supports to start only on the part instead of the plate? This is the only thing preventing the ability to export this code in Prusa Slicer The Grid support pattern doesn't present this issue, so that's an option, but it just takes 4 hours more or so, and I'd like to get this print in the shortest time possible Not sure if this matters

Orca slicer is a fork of bambu slicer which is a fork of prusaslicer from what I have read I have only used prusaslicer but judging by screenshots they're similar
