I have the Arctis 7 too and it is not meant to watch TV, it's a gaming headset, not a bluetooth headphone It works fine wirelessly on PS4 and Switch Maybe the way you connect the Switch to the wireless dongle also works for TVs if it had a 3 5mm jack but I'm not sure if it will

I have the original Arctis 7 and yeah, the mic is unusably quiet by default for me too I got around it by having Equalizer APO installed on the mic device and jacking up the pre-amp I've also installed a noise suppression plug-in into the Equalizer APO config (RNNoise) Post all that, it's a pretty good sounding mic
