- Food Grade Argon vs Regular Argon | WeldingWeb - Welding Community for . . .
Argon is the cheapest and most effective means for most inert gassing In truth, gas cost is chump change At 6 5 cents a cubic foot, an entire 1000 gallon headspace full of argon costs nine bucks A barrel of argon costs fifty cents Figuring which gas to use in a specific application will usually blow the savings as brain labor

- When To Change Argon Cylinder? - weldingweb. com
Re: When To Change Argon Cylinder? What tungsten are you using and is it completely clean, is the aluminum clean, what gas flow are you using, do you have a good connection for the work clamp Could be dirty gas but sounds like the high frequency may be jumping to the filler rod Some pics would help as would all the parameters you're using
- Argon vs Argon CO2 flowmeter? - WeldingWeb
pure argon and argon CO2 have different molar masses and therefore flow at different rates this is the reason for the separate scales for mixed gas vs straight Argon if it is marked for Argon then you can use it no problem
- Are all welding tanks (for gas) built the same? [Archive] - WeldingWeb . . .
Argon, C25, CO2, oxygen or helium - the cylinder don't care what you put in it as long as the pressure is below the working pressure stamped on the cylinder It's the same type of cylinder for all of the gasses above That's the physics of it Regulation and procedures at your LWS might be different though ironmangq 02-01-2017, 10:00 AM
- Arrrggg. . . . . . . Im losing Argon and I cant find the leak . . .
Newly filled bottle of Argon for my Precision TIG 185 about 1800 lbs last week Now about 1500 I thought this strange since I haven't done much in the last week So I opened the bottle to fill the regulator and then closed the bottle within 5 minutes I can watch the residual pressure in the line drop to 0
